Are your puppies AKC registered?

Yes.  Our breeding dogs are eligible for AKC registration and are placed in pet homes on AKC Limited Registration.

Are the parents health tested?

Yes.  The parents of our puppies have completed OFA DNA health testing.  We believe responsible breeding begins with healthy breeding dogs, and health testing is an important part of our commitment to producing healthy, well-tempered AKC Standard Poodles.  While no breeder can guarantee a puppy will never develop a health condition, we carefully select our breeding dogs to help give each puppy the best possible start in life.

How much are your puppies?

Our AKC Standard Poodle puppies are $2000.00 as companion pets on AKC Limited Registration.

Is a deposit required?

Yes.  A $350.00 non-refundable reservation deposit is required after your puppy application has been approved.  The deposit is applied toward the purchase price.

What comes with my puppy?

When can my puppy go home?

Puppies are typically ready to go to their new homes at 8 weeks of age, provided they are healthy and thriving.

Are your puppies raised in your home?

Yes!  Our puppies are raised in our home, where they receive daily love, socialization, and exposure to everyday household sights and sounds.

Do you offer breeding rights?

At this time, no.  We currently place puppies in pet homes only on AKC Limited Registration.

Will my black puppy stay black?

Not always.  Because our puppies are from two AKC Silver Standard Poodle parents, some solid black puppies may silver with age.  Coat color develops differently for each puppy, so we cannot guarantee the final color.

Do Standard Poodles require grooming?

Yes.  Standard Poodles have low-shedding coat that requires brushing and professional grooming approximately every 6-8 weeks to keep their coat healthy and comfortable.  

What if I can no longer keep my dog?

​We ​are committed to every puppy we produce.  If you are ​ever unable to keep your ​Standard Poodle, we ​ask that you contact Huckleberry's Farm first so we can help ensure they are placed in a safe, loving home.
